as our CEO Marilyn has steered the growth of Mediation Works to become a national multi-mediation service provider and one of the biggest services in the UK.
we have been at the forefront of developing mediation and professional standards over the last 15 years.
marilyn is Chair of the College of Mediators Professional Practice Standards Committee. She continues to practice as a mediator and leads our workplace mediation training team
tony whatling
one of our associate trainers, Tony has trained hundreds of individual mediators throughout the UK over the past 20 years in family, community, and workplace mediation. He has also provided mediation training to teams in organisations such as ACAS.
in addition tony has designed and delivered family and community foundation training programmes to over 800 Shia Imami Ismaili Muslim Mediators in Pakistan, India, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Portugal, USA, Canada, UK, Afghanistan & Syria. On behalf of the British Council he acted as a visiting consultant to the Chilean Government.
prior to establishing his own business 18 years ago, he was Head of the Department of Social Work Education at Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge and he is an independent founder member of the College of Mediators Professional Practice Sub Committee.
tony has presented papers and workshops at international mediation conferences and has published numerous articles on practice.
